Activity 1

What do the numbers represent? Upper left and upper right?
The numbers in the upper left represent the atomic number which keeps tract of the number of protons. The number in the upper right is the atomic mass which is the weight of the atom. represent groups and periods.

What do the letters represent? Mg for example

The letters in Mg stand for Magnesium.

What is the difference between Na and K?
The difference between Na & K  is that Potassium which is K has a higher atomic number that is 19 while Sodium; Na has an atomic number of 11 this keeps tract of the number of protons. Their mass is also different K has the higher mass which is why it is located in the fourth row while sodium is in the third.
